Spindles

I fell in love with Ken Ledbetter's spindles the first time I saw them. Each beautiful spindle is unique. After I'd bought my third Ledbetter spindle, I called Ken and Carol and asked if I could carry their spindles. They agreed. I couldn't be more pleased. Unlike most spindle makers, Ken designs each spindle individually, using combinations of woods, antique buttons, ceramic pieces, stone, glass and beads. Every one is a work of art. The true test for a spindle is, of course, the spindling. These spin as beautifully as they look. Each spindle is signed and marked with an identification number under the whorl.
