Summer news..
This spring, Ken Ledbetter sent me my first order of his wonderful spindles. They sold out in two days. The second order has arrived and been posted to a new catagory, "Spindles". Each of Ken's spindles is a unique work of art. They spin beautifully and have a long spin time. I'm crazy about them.

The lovely Japanese Vines Scarf pattern by Michele Molis is finished and photographed. The kit information has been posted. I love the pattern. It is easily memorized. I found that I could pick it up and at a glance know where I left off. No guesswork, perfect little pick up pattern for those summer vacation days.

There has been dyeing, lots of it. Ball and Skein is the dyer for Yarn4Sock's August sock kit. I used the deep reds to purple that you see in the sugarbush and on the Red Osier late in the autumn as my inspiration.

Chris is in the shop finishing the next run of skein winders. Life is busy. Life is good.
